NJYS Awards Dinner

Each year, New Jersey Youth Soccer hosts roughly 700 guests at its Annual Awards Dinner, honoring New Jersey players, teams, coaches, referees and volunteers for outstanding performances and contributions during the preceding year. The 2020 NJYS Annual Awards Dinner will take place on Friday, January 31st.

The evening also acknowledges many of the state's boys and girls U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship Series, Presidents Cup, and Commissioners Cup team champions, as well as players selected for the U.S. Youth Soccer East Region ODP pool team.

The following honorees are also presented with awards for their individual contributions:

  • Bob McNulty Coach of the Year
  • Recreation Program of the Year
  • Recreation Coach of the Year
  • TOPSoccer Volunteer of the Year
  • Liesel Krehan Volunteer of the Year
  • Youth Referee of the Year
  • Comeback Player of the Year presented by JAG Physical Therapy
  • Allan Sinclair Memorial Scholarship
  • Jeanine Willis Scholarship
  • Brett Fenster Memorial Scholarship

Additionally, NJYS inducts a new member into the New Jersey Youth Soccer Hall of Fame, with previous inductees including Tony Meola, Christie Pearce, Tab Ramos, Carli Lloyd, John Harkes and Tobin Heath. Make sure to join us for an outstanding evening to celebrate youth soccer in New Jersey!
